Overview

As with Android #17 and Android #18, we have finally received an Extreme variant of Android #16 shortly after the release of  SP Android #16 GRN. This Fighter is a Support through and through, and his Unique Ability echoes what happened during the Cell Games Saga, as his death directly leads to bolstering your Teammates’ Damage significantly.

Since this Fighter has a Yellow specific Z-Ability, he would ideally be placed in a Team whose goal is to Buff that color as much as possible. He can also be used as a replacement in an Android Team if it’s missing key Fighters.

Strengths

Pure Support

Whether it’s his Main Ability, Defeated Unique Ability, or Extra Move, EX Android #16 YEL gives his Teammates a very noticeable increase in Damage and Combo potential.

His Main Ability reduces the cost of Blast and Strike Arts Cards, his Extra Card gives his Teammates a  +15% to Damage inflicted, and most importantly: he Buffs Teammate Damage by a sizeable 30% for 20 Timer Counts when he is defeated.

Robot Body

This secondary Unique Ability makes EX Android #16 YEL invulnerable to any kind of status Debuff, which comes in handy pretty considering how many high tier Fighters have Specials Moves that inflict status Debuffs.

Weaknesses

Mixed Arts Cards

Similar to SP Android #16 GRN, this Fighter is a Strike based with very weak Blast Attack. However, while SP Android #16 GRN has two Strike Arts Cards, EX Android #16 YEL has one Strike Arts Card and one Blast, severely limiting his Damage output.

Color-Locked Z-Ability

While the Z-Ability isn’t bad, it limits the Teams this Fighter can join. Forcing him into a Tag-based Team that currently lacks PVP competitive Yellow Fighters would mean taking the place of a very valuable Fighter and reducing the overall Synergy of the Team.

Ideally, he’d go in a predominant Yellow Team but as of right now, that is a risky proposition with SP Super Gogeta Red being so popular and Saiyans remaining the dominant Meta Tag.

Since this Fighter’s Z-Ability buffs Yellow Strike Attack and Strike Defense, he’s better suited in a predominantly Yellow Team with a Blue Fighter to cover their weakness to Red Fighters. But that Blue Fighter would have to be really strong since SP Super Gogeta RED being so popular and Saiyans remaining the dominant Meta Tag.
