This variant of Android #17 is from when the Z-Warriors first met the Android trio in Goku’s Assassin and in the right Team, EX Android #17 RED can hold his own against SP Rarity Fighters. His Cover Unique Ability makes him a viable if risky cover switch.
By EX standards, this is a Great Melee Fighter with two held Strike Arts Cards and great Ki for controlling the Combat Loop fairly well.
Lastly, his Special Move is teachable to Shallot at Friendship Level 2 so if nothing else, he’s worth the grind for that.
His ‘Cover’ Unique Ability is, well, unique. It not only allows him to take a beating but provides a massive all Damage Buff. When combined with his Extra Move, it allows him to give more and take less.
His Main Ability can extend Combos by at least two additional Attacks. This is especially useful since his Arts Card mix fit his strengths well.
EX Android #17 RED isn’t exactly like his Sparkling counterpart, but they are both competent Tanks and his Cover Unique Ability Cover to soak up Damage when needed. However, that’s where the similarities end because this Android #17 variant has a very powerful Melee toolkit that fits well within the current Strike focused Meta.
