Krillin is the kind of character that fans love to hate, and his reputation as a weak fighter has carried through into Dragon Ball legends.
While he has a useful teachable Special Move and interesting Extra Move, there isn’t much else about this Fighter that provides utility for Players in PVP.
These sort of Moves can buy time and are great to stop an Enemy from dashing in for a close-range Attack. This works against both Strike and Melee based Special Moves.
While the Damage Buffs are relatively minor EX Krillin RED’s Special Move has a sizable 70% chance of inflicting Bleed, making him a great Fighter to grind for Friendship so that HE Shallot LGT can make use of it.
Not Very Supportive
Despite being a Support Fighter, a lot of his Abilities are self Buffs. His Main Ability heals a lot, but only his own meager Health stat and his Unique Ability only improves his Ki Recovery Speed if all three Teammates are alive.
Both of these Buffs would be really useful for the Team, but they are wasted on him.
Owned in PVP
His stats are pretty terrible. He would be a good choice to put on the bench of a Red color-counter Team, but that’s only if there are no better options. Otherwise, he definitely doesn’t give enough Team Support to be added to the core.
While there are plenty of powerful Red Fighters who could benefit from a little extra Blast Defense, EX Krillin RED’s Z-Ability doesn’t Buff by much, and since it only improves one stat, it’s recommended to replace him with EX Android #17 RED since he also Buffs Blast Attack at all star levels.

Below average stats and no noticeable all Damage Buffs to help those stats.
While farmable, EX Krillin RED has below average stats and no all Damage Buffs.
His toolkit adds some durability through self-healing and he can apply various debuffs to Enemies in addition to inflicting Flash and Bleed, but these debuffs are too costly or circumstantial to overcome other limitations. With his Unique Ability to boost Ki Recovery Speed, he is capable of juggling Enemies and stunning them with his Extra Move to set up larger Combos from stronger Teammates.
