EX Pan PUR has a pretty interesting toolkit for an older EX Rarity Fighter. If it weren’t for her Z-Synergy, she might have had a longer shelf life.
But until Female Warriors see more consistent and powerful Fighter releases, this is unlikely. This is a real shame too since her Abilities mesh in an interesting way with the current Meta.
Float Like a Butterfly, Sting Like a Bee
This Fighter’s toolkit is all about Ki and Vanish-Step Recovery, even Buffing Ki Recovery Speed for switched in Teammates.
This makes EX Pan PUR a little harder to catch, which is perfect since Vanish-Step is in such high demand since the Side-Step update.
She also gains Blast Damage Buffs from her Special and Extra Moves, making it a little harder to take her out.
Synergy With a Weak Tag
The Hybrid Saiyan Tag used to be much stronger, but she doesn’t even Synergize with them.
Because of this, she’s unlikely to get picked got that Build which leaves Female Warrior or an Android #18 heavy AndroidTeam as her two best bets for making the bench.
Despite having a fairly interesting toolkit, little can be done about old and ineffective stats.
If EX Pan PUR were to see improvements in a future Balancing update, she might have more use, but for now, she’s a bench Fighter and a low priority one at that.
This Tag didn’t exactly experience the revival it hoped for after getting three Tag exclusive Equips from The Invincible Android #18 Story Event, but it still has some pretty good Synergy and it’s fun to play as a novelty Build.
For this Team, EX Pan PUR makes a great bench Support.
Even if it doesn’t exactly dominate the Meta, the typical Android Team often has one or two Android #18 variants in the core lineup, making EX Pan PUR an excellent bench Synergy choice.
She only Buffs one stat, but a 20% Blast Defense increase at zero stars is nothing to sneeze at.
Her Main Ability Boosts Teammate Ki Recovery Speeds and she has an above average Ranged toolkit, including a good base Damage and several all Damage Buffs.
While Blast Attack is above average, the other stats make her overly reliant on Team Buffs.
EX Pan PUR is great for completing the Team: she can use the Arts Cards not utilized by other Teammates, Buffs Ki Recovery Speed, and her Main Ability directly restores Ki to the Team. However, her otherwise generally weak stats make her the third wheel to what is essentially a two-person Team. This is made even worse by power creep.
