From the Saiyan Saga Z, shortly after Chiaotzu’s sacrifice, EX Tien YEL makes his presence felt as a Defense Fighter who was recently on the receiving end of some major Buffs.
True to form, EX Tien YEL was always a resilient Fighter, but after the Buffs from a recentupdate, he has been turned into a brick wall that can shut down most non-Red attacks.
Because of his Tags and Z-Ability, there are a select few Teams he can fit into, but he performs his role very well in them regardless.
EX Tien YEL now boasts some of the highest Blast Defense and Strike Defense in the entire game. His new stats coupled with the fact that Color locked Z-Abilities tend to boast higher Buffs make this Fighter an absolute nightmare to push through.
One of the more forgotten aspects of this Fighter is the fact that he reduces the Damage taken from Kamehameha and Super Kamehameha Special Moves by a whopping 50%.
Seeing as Goku variants are so popular (and will forever remain this way), EX Tien YEL is a safe switch to absorb this Special Move that would otherwise tear a hole through any other Fighter.
Worthless Unique Ability
EX Tien YEL gets a sizeable Strike Boost when a Chiatzou variant is defeated. The only problem is that the current Chiatzou variants in the game are completely unusable.
This is unfortunate since it could have given EX Tien YEL a serious Damage Boost on top of being so hard to kill.
Super Warrior currently does not have enough support as of to make a PVP viable Team, which leaves this Fighter very limited in terms of Team building. While he can go into a Yellow Team rather easily, this can be a problematic strategy if matched against a Team with multiple Red Fighters.
He can be used as the Defensive Fighter for a Yellow Color-Counter Team or as a Strike Attack and Defense Buffer for a high priority Yellow Fighter on any other Team.
