Toolkit wise, his Main Ability, Barrier, and Cover were all improved significantly. Through a wide variety of Strike and Blast Attack Buffs, Ki Reduction, and Damage Reduction, SP Android #17 PUR does an excellent job controlling the Combat Loop in PVP.
His Blast Defense and Strike Defense stats are among some of the best in the game, and are supplemented by his Cover. When switched into a Combo, SP Android #17 PUR reduces incoming Damage received by 50%, reduces Enemy Ki by 50, and gains a massive 40% Strike Attack Boost for a very long 40 timer counts.
Landing his Barrier rewards SP Android #17 PUR tremendously. When successful, he reduces the next Damage sustained by 30% and gains yet another Strike Damage inflicted Buff, this time by 20%.
SP Android #17 PUR’s Main Ability couldn’t be named anymore accurately. In one fell swoop, he draws an Extra Arts Card, inflicts all Enemies with Attribute Downgrade “+35% to Damage Received" for 30 timer counts, and reduces their Ki by a crippling 60. All of this can be had in a mere 15 timer counts into the Match.
All in all, SP Android #17 PUR is extremely durable, but can devastate the Enemy on the Offensive side of things as well.
Unfortunately, SP Android #17 PUR couldn’t quite have it all. While his variant of Cover is most certainly game-changing, it adds +3 to his substitution count when activated.
He’s extremely powerful and versatile, but this does limit the amount of times he’ll be switching into the battlefield during a Match.
SP Android #17 PUR has a 40% Blast Damage inflicted Buff as long as his entire Team is alive. This makes him very dangerous to start any Match, but if any of his Teammates happen to die his Blast Damage will drop considerably.
SP Android #17 PUR now Buffs Android Blast Attack and Defense when limit broken to 5 stars, making him an exceptional core member of the Team once again.
Whether he’s on the bench or core, SP Android #17 PUR fits perfectly among Purple Majority Teams. He Boosts Blast Attack and Defense for all Teammates.
This Fighter makes for an essential Defensive utility to the entire Team.

SP Android #17 PUR has a wealth of options for Equipment, but one thing remains for certain: “…it seems we miscalculated” remains at the top. As a Tank with very strong Blast Attack, he should almost certainly use this Equip.

“Hiya!” makes him do more Damage to Super Saiyans, and helps his Ki Recovery Speed, which isn’t too high.
A forgotten aspect of this Fighter is the 20% Strike Attack Boost he gets after using his Cover Unique Ability, so the Strike Attack from this Equip is especially useful.

As a Tank with a strong emphasis on Blast Attack, this Equip is excellent.
Draw a Special Arts Card next. Inflicts all enemies with Attribute Downgrade "+35% to Damage Received" for 30 timer counts. Reduces enemy Ki by 60. Requirements: 15 timer counts must elapse.

Deals major Slice damage. Inflicts enemy with Attribute Downgrade "+20% to Strike Damage Received" for 15 timer counts. 40% chance to inflict Paralyze on hit.
Nullifies enemy attacks, excluding certain moves like Rising Rush. If enemy is at close range while attacks are nullified, they will be knocked back to long range. The following effects occur if attacks are nullified: Reduces next damage sustained by 30% (cannot be stacked). This applies until enemy combo is finished. +20% to Strike damage inflicted for 40 timer counts.
