Captain of the Ginyu Force, SP Captain Ginyu GRN is an excellent Defensive Fighter. While his stat's have aged a bit, he still has competitively high Health and Defenses.
He was the first Fighter in the game to hold an Extra Arts Card--a good thing for him since he isn't exactly built for dealing Damage.
His Synergy with the Ginyu Force Tag is top notch as that build puts a focus on Support and Buffs. He has a fairly average Damage output, but the Buffs he gives himself do a lot to make that more manageable.
This Fighter has pretty high Health and Defense stats, allowing him to take a good number of hits. His Equip options and Z-Ability further improve his Defensive capabilities.
Through his Main Ability, SP Captain Ginyu GRN can summon his Awakened Arts Card, “Body Change”. It deals a significant amount of Damage and inflicts Bleed upon the Enemy.
Almost all of Captain Ginyu SP’s attacks are aimed at debuffing the Enemy. Beyond the effects of his Awakened Move, he can also cause them to take more Blast or Strike Damage. While this may not help him much because of his Defense-oriented stats, it's a huge Boost in damage to the Offensive Fighters in his Team.
Poor Damage Output
SP Captain Ginyu GRN’s Attack stats are quite low for an SP Fighter, even if Damage output isn't his primary focus. on top of this, his Self-Buffs don't prioritize Blast Attack, which is his slightly higher Attack stat.
Even with self-Buffs and Enemy Debuffs, his held Arts Cards don't work with the rest of his toolkit. The Extra Arts Card is nice, but the Strike Card works against his slightly higher Blast Attack.
While SP Captain Ginyu GRN has amazing Synergy with all of the Ginyu Force members, he doesn’t fit as well with any other Frieza Force Fighters, with the exception of SP FF Frieza YEL.
