Frieza is back and his power is even more devastating than ever.
SP Golden Frieza GRN boasts the second ever Team-wide Attack and unlike SP Majin Vegeta RED, he won’t have to sacrifice himself to deal that Damage.
While most useful during the first half of the Match, SP Golden Frieza GRN can still pack a punch once his initial Buffs wear off.
Right out the Gate
SP Golden Frieza GRN was built to be a starter--his Main Ability takes a while to charge but once it does, he has a 35 timer count Damage Buff window to Attack with his devastating Ultimate Move that can deal Damage to the entire Enemy Team.
It’s best for this Fighter to be switched in just before activating his Ultimate Move so he can also get Buffed by his “Let Us Begin Our Revenge” Unique Ability.
The Buff potency of his Z-Ability is pretty good, but the real strength of it comes from the fact that it Buffs two stats and two Tags at 5 stars. This increases his Team options and his shelf-life in the face of potential power creep.
The aforementioned Unique Ability is a big reason why he does so much Damage, but his second Unique -- “Let Us Begin Our Revenge” -- supplements it tremendously. He does an innate 30% extra Damage to Saiyansand applies Attribute Downgrade +35 Damage Received for 20 timer counts every time he enters the battlefield.
Any Blue Saiyan he happens to encounter will die in the blink of an eye. EvenPurpleSaiyans are not entirely safe from his onslaught.
For as insanely powerful he is Offensively, he can go down just as quickly if at the end of any Combo. Luckily the addition of SP FP FF Frieza YEL has given the Team exceptional Defensive viability, but SP Golden Frieza GRN still needs to be sheltered.
Lineage of Evil
This is definitely his strongest Team option, making a formidable trio with SP FP FF Frieza YEL andSP FF Coora BLU.
The new Ginyu Force Team Fighters all share this Tag and are all good in the core, despite their EX Rarity. SP Golden Frieza GRN slots into this Team marvelously, especially if he's limit broken to 5 stars.
Boosts to both Attack stats is excellent here, as SP Golden Frieza GRN does do quite a bit of Strike Attack Damage as well despite being geared towards Blast. "Let me to show you!"is good for slightly more Blast Attack with an emphasis on Special Move Damage.
I'll Make Sure to Kill You.
Draw the Ultimate Arts Card "Earth Crusher" next. Restores own Ki by 30. +35% to Ultimate damage inflicted for 10 timer counts if activated within 60 timer counts from battle start. +35% to Ultimate damage inflicted for 10 timer counts if health is 50% or below. Requirements: 25 timer counts must elapse.
This Won't Be Easy for You
The following effects occur from battle start for 60 timer counts: -5 to own Blast Arts cost (cannot be cancelled). +50% to damage inflicted (cannot be cancelled). Increases Arts Card Draw Speed by 1 level (cannot be cancelled). +30% to own Ki Recovery (cannot be cancelled).
Let Us Begin Our Revenge
+30% to damage inflicted against "Tag: Saiyan" (cannot be cancelled). The following effects occur when this character enters the battlefield: Inflicts enemy with Attribute Downgrade "+35% to Damage Received" for 20 timer counts. Inflicts enemy with Attribute Downgrade "-20% to Ki Recovery" for 20 timer counts.
He functions like SP SSJ Kid Goku GRNon steroids. He’s incredibly oppressive for the first 60 timer counts, but unlike SP SSJ Kid Goku GRN he’s still great afterward.
His “Let Us Begin Our Revenge” Unique Ability increases Damage toSaiyans, and applies Attribute Downgrade "+35% to Damage Received" for 20 timer counts when he enters the battlefield.
SP Golden Frieza GRN is a downright terrifying Offensive Fighter.Anti-Saiyan Damage inflicted Uniques will always keep a Fighter in the mix, but he combines this trait with a 50% Damage inflicted Buff from the start of the Match for 60 timer counts while always inflicting Enemies with Attribute Downgrade "+35% to Damage Received" for 20 timer counts when he comes into the battlefield
SP Golden Frieza GRN is still one of the best Fighters in the game, but doesn’t set the world on fire like he did when Lineage of Evil became a top Team. Due to Lineage of Evil stagnating a bit and Saiyans not being as prevalent, he’s now S Tier, but maybe only temporarily.
