There are times in Dragon Ball Legends where a Fighter doesn’t exactly fit into the classification they were given. One would expect to see SP Krillin BLU under Support Type due to his focus on healing. Instead, he gets labeled as a Ranged Fighter and it’s hard to understand why.
SP Krillin BLU comes from Android Saga Z but features Moves from way back in Saiyan Saga Z. He’s a really good Fighter due to his self and Team healing.
SP Krillin BLU will deal very little Damage, but the Support and utility he brings to the table make up for that.
Unexpectedly High Blast Attack
SP Krillin BLU is classified as a Ranged type, and the game tried in every possible way to demonstrate this by giving him a really good Offensive value for his Blast Attacks.
Health Recovery and Debuff Negation
His Main super supportive. He can Recover the entire Team’s Health by 20% and prevent the Enemy from Recovering Ki for 5 timer counts. But the most interesting thing to note about this Ability is that it also cancels Attribute Downgrades for the whole Team. This is really useful and a great counter for Fighters whose primary focus is debuffing.
With exception to his Blast Attack, this Fighter’s stats are hardly competitive, and his Ki Recovery speed is too low to use him as a viable Damage dealer in most PVP Teams. especially is too. This wouldn’t be so bad if his Arts Cards matched his Battle Style but instead, he has two Strike Arts Cards.
The Super Warrior Tag--which is the only relevant Tag this Fighter has--isn't even capable of forming one full-fledged Team due to a lack of Z-Abilities. This forces SP Krillin BLU to be played in Blue majority Teams or unrelated Teams that will give him little to no support if he’s even put on the core line-up.
Color Counter Saiyan Team
This is likely the best option for him in the current Meta. SP Krillin BLU may be a bit old, but he’s still PVP viable.
A Color Counter Team with two Blue Fighters would put his Z-Ability to use and if it’s also populated by Saiyans, he has plenty of Goku variant options to fulfill his secondary Unique Ability requirement.
This Team’s biggest downside is that it would benefit from his Strike Arts Cards, Z-Ability, and healing, but the Saiyan Tag has nothing to offer SP Krillin BLU.
Amazing group heal that also cancels Enemy Ki Recovery for 5 counts.
Poor Arts Card mix as a Blast Damage focused Fighter and general power creep hurt this Fighter’s viability.
SP Krillin BLU is a competent Blast Fighter who can heal the entire Team and also reduce Damage dealt by Enemy Teams. He is one of the better Synergizing Fighters in the game and when paired with someone in need of extra Strike Arts Cards, but power creep has made his defects less forgivable, even with all his strengths.
