Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan, makes his appearance on Dragon Ball Legends as a Strike Offense Fighter.
While he still flaunts one of the highest Strike Attack stats in the game, this Fighter has not aged well and without the help of a highly supportive Team, won't last long against the newer SP Fighters.
He was the first Fighter in the game to have an Extra Move that Attacks the Enemy by inflicting forced switching--while this remains especially useful in PVP, stats will remain a limiting factor for SP LSSJ Broly BLU
Incredible Strike Attack
His stats are heavily supported by Saiyan Tag Fighters, who really like boosting Melee Style Fighters like this one.
When landed, his Special Move increases Strike Damage dealt even further by 15% and his Unique Ability automatically deals another 20% increase if the Enemy Fighter is a Goku Variant.
SP LSSJ Broly BLU has a long list of moves that allow him to severely Damage the Enemy, ranging from an Extra Move move that forces the Enemy to switch to a Unique Ability that slows down Enemy Ki Recovery Speed every time they switch Fighters.
His Special Move also has a 30% chance to inflict the annoying Faint status. Overall, going up against this Legendary beast is a painful experience for the Enemy due to the high number of debuffs they'll have to deal with.
Beyond Strike Attack, SP LSSJ Broly BLU’s stats range from poor to just plain bad. Unless Players have owned and poured a lot into Soul Boosting him already, it's not worth the Souls that could go to a better Fighter.
Movie Tie-in Z-Ability Boosts
While it’s certainly viable, building a Team around Sagas Warriors is currently quite limiting. A Saiyan-boosting Z-Ability would’ve been better since that’s where SP LSSJ Broly BLU is run most of the time.
Mixed Held Arts Cards
Despite being a Melee Style Fighter, he carries a Blast Arts Card. For this reason, Players might want to run a Fighter with a high Blast Attack value in the same Team, rather than going all Melee.
Saiyan Z-Abilities primarily focus on boosting Health and Strike Attack--perfect for this Fighter. Running this him alongside other SP Saiyan Fighters with high Damage output make for a deadly Team Build.
Running a with a Purple Fighter is especially good because he can cover SP LSSJ Broly BLU’s Element Group weakness.
Overall, SP LSSJ Broly BLU’s Synergy in Blue Color Counter Teams is terrible. But since Blue Fighters focus more on Blast Damage and barely have Fighters for Strike Damage, he would be a great addition when building a Team for the Strike-centric PVP.
However, he won’t have as high a Damage output as when running a Saiyan Team Build.
