This is an old school Broly variant with plenty of new tricks.
It takes a lot to bring him down and his toolkit will make Enemies think twice before initiating an Attack. With the kind of Synergy that lets him fit into Plenty of Teams, SP LSSJ Broly GRN is likely to stick around for a while.
SP LSSJ Broly GRN is an extremely effective Tank through his Cover-like Unique Ability and Barrier Extra Move that can be drawn the first two times he is switched in. Couple this with his already high Health and Defensive stats, and he essentially becomes a brick wall that hits back.
Extra Special Combo
By switching into Combat and immediately activating his Main Ability, SP LSSJ Broly GRN has the ability to counter everything but Rising Rushes and in turn land massive amounts of Boosted Damage.
Tripping Over His Toolkit
As great as his Extra Special Combo is, it makes bringing him into Combat the first few times inhibiting when he doesn’t also have a Special Move Arts Card in hand. As a counter, it reduces Combo length unless he starts with it on the Defensive.
This really is the best option for him because he Buffs the Team and acts as an effective counter against all the powerful Blue Fighters in the current Meta.
This is of course by no means a deal breaker and worst case scenario, SP LSSJ Broly GRN Buffs from the bench with his dual stat Z-Ability since two of the three main core Fighters are also Sagas Warriors.
While they don’t provide the same level of Synergy as Sagas Warriors, this is still a great choice and even shares some Fighters with the latter.
This is a great option to improve his already high Defenses and Strike Attack.
Players who want slightly more Strike Defense and swap out the Strike Attack Buff for Special Damage (since SP LSSJ Broly GRN’s toolkit does do a lot to Boost complex Damage already), can choose“He’s a Saiyan!” instead.
The Critical Buff on this one is great since that stat is already high for him, and he’s going to be paired with SP SSJ Bardock BLUa lot.
If not paired with SP SSJ Bardock BLU, Wait, Gohan! gets the nod instead.
Draw a Special Move Arts Card next. -15 to own Special Move Arts cost for 25 timer counts. +40% to Strike damage inflicted for 25 timer counts. Requirements: 20 timer counts must elapse.
Draw a Special Arts Card next when this character enters the battlefield (activates 2 times).
Reduces damage received by 50% until combo ends when changing cover. Knocks back enemy to long range if a cover change is performed against their Strike Arts attack. Inflicts all enemies with Attribute Downgrade "-80% to Ki Recovery" for 10 timer counts when activated. +5 to own substitution count when activated.
Deals massive Explode damage. +15% to damage inflicted for 15 timer counts upon activation.
Nullifies enemy attacks, excluding certain moves like Rising Rush. Shock wave released when Barrier ends knocks back enemy to long range on hit. Applies the following Attribute Upgrades to self when this character uses a Special Arts. Reduces next damage sustained by 20% (cannot be cancelled, cannot be stacked). +50% to next Special Move Arts damage (cannot be cancelled, cannot be stacked).
He’s a brick wall of a Tank with a multitude of Defensive capabilities.
He can struggle to do Damage unless he’s able to land Special Move Arts Cards.
SP LSSJ Broly GRN is very hard to take down as he has very high Defenses, Health, Cover,and a drawable Extra Move which nullifies most Attacks excluding Rising Rush. He does, however, struggle to do consistent Damage, which is primarily geared towards his Special Move Arts cards. Luckily, he draws Special Move Arts Cards with his Main Ability.
