SP Paikuhan YEL comes straight from Dragon Ball Z anime filler episodes and movies and joins the Dragon Ball Legends roster as a Melee Fighter with a few Supportive tricks up his sleeve.
Once thought of as the last Fighter a Player ever wants to see from a banner pull, he received some much-needed Buffs during the second balance update and became significantly better for a while. He has since been power crept
Crippling Main and Unique Abilities
This Fighter tends to leave his mark on the Enemy Team whether he is still alive or not. His Main Ability increases the cost of Enemy Strike and Blast Arts Cards by 10 for a whole 20 timer counts, crippling their Damage output significantly.
Alternatively, he also increases the Enemy substitution count by 5 when he is defeated, once again compromising the other Team.
For a Team mostly composed by Saiyans like Sagas Warriors, Frieza Force matchups can be bothersome. While it would be a stretch to call SP Paikuhan YEL a strong Fighter against Frieza Force, his anti-Tag Unique Ability certainly helps his case. It’s also worth considering that Frieza Force Fighter are mostly good thanks to their Anti-SaiyanUnique Ability, and SP Paikuhan YEL surely doesn’t belong to the monkey race, so he can be good overall as an alternative in those kind of matchups.
Conflictual Z-Ability Effects
SP Paikuhan Z-Ability Buffs Health for Yellow and Strike Defense for Sagas Warriors, which means that only Yellow Sagas Warriors can take full advantage of those Effects. Unfortunately for him, there is no such Fighter on Sagas Warriors’ Core at the moment.
This Fighter is as one dimensional as they come, geared entirely towards Strike Attack. While that is definitely preferable to being a one-dimensional Ranged Fighter, he’s still predictable overall seeing as his Blast Attack is utterly worthless. Considering that Sagas Warriors is a Blast-centric Team, things are not looking good for SP Paikuhan YEL.
His Defense after his balance change was very high, but he’s yet again becoming a victim of power creep and as such, has very low Defenses.
As explained before, no Core Fighter can take full advantage of his Z-Ability, so for the most part he brings weaker contribute to the table compared to Saiyan benches for this Team Build. Things may change in the future once a good Yellow Sagas Warrior gets released.
