SP Paikuhan YEL comes straight from Dragon Ball Z anime filler episodes and movies and joins the Dragon Ball Legends roster as a Melee Fighter with a few Supportive tricks up his sleeve.

Once thought of as the last Fighter a Player ever wants to see from a banner pull, he received some much-needed Buffs during the second balance update and became significantly better for a while. He has since been power crept

SP Paikuhan YEL has some serviceable Damage but really makes his presence felt with very disruptive Abilities, such as increasing Arts Card cost or inflicting the most devastating status possible: Faint.


Crippling Main and Unique Abilities

This Fighter tends to leave his mark on the Enemy Team whether he is still alive or not. His Main Ability increases the cost of Enemy Strike and Blast Arts Cards by 10 for a whole 20 timer counts, crippling their Damage output significantly.

Alternatively, he also increases the Enemy substitution count by 5 when he is defeated, once again compromising the other Team.

Double Dipping Z-Ability

SP Paikuhan YEL’s Z-Ability buffs Yellow Health, and is upgraded at 5 stars to Buff Sagas Warrior Strike Defense. However, this is not an either/or situation: any Yellow Fighter who is also a Sagas Warrior will receive both of these Buffs.


Situational Unique Ability

His Anti-Frieza Force Unique Ability is very situational seeing as there are only a select few Frieza Force Fighters used in the current Meta. Not only that, but Unique Abilities that target a specific Tag can have a Fighter in and out of a Meta in terms of viability with every update.


This Fighter is as one dimensional as they come, geared entirely towards Strike Attack. While that is definitely preferable to being a one-dimensional Ranged Fighter, he’s still predictable overall seeing as his Blast Attack is utterly worthless.

Low Defense

His Defense after his balance change was very high, but he’s yet again becoming a victim of power creep and as such, has very low Defenses.

Team Synergy

Sagas Warrior

His Z-Ability makes this an obvious choice, as does his toolkit considering most Sagas Warriors would prefer to be allied with a Melee Fighter. The two Strike Arts Cards he brings to the Team are very valuable.

Yellow Color Counter

His Z-Ability provides the Yellow Color Counter Team with a much needed Health Buff, but can also give an additional Strike Defense Buff at 5 stars if any of the Yellow Fighters also happens to be a Sagas Warrior, like SP SSJG Vegeta YEL and SP Perfect Cell YEL.
