This Fighter is almost entirely Crisis related, excelling the most when his Teammates are down. While that can make for some clutch moments, this mechanic is very situational and as a result, SP SSJ2 Vegeta PUR suffers from a lack of Damage output.
He does have a few more tricks up his sleeve to Support Teammates but have him do a surprising amount of Damage before it gets to that point, however.
His Main Ability does two very important things. The first being that he Restores his Health by 20%. This is important if he intends to get to the portion of the game where he’s at his strongest – as the last man alive.
Maybe more important than that is the fact that he draws a Special Move Arts Card and automatically increases its Damage by 80%. This is the most notable thing in his toolkit that allows him to pack a punch he wouldn’t have otherwise.
He increases Damage inflicted for Saiyans and Hybrid Saiyans by 20% when switched to standby. Assist Unique Abilities have always been one of the best a Fighter can have access to, and that’s no different here.
In general, Crisis has always been incredibly situational, and SP SSJ2 Vegeta PUR does very little in the way of Offense up until the point where two Teammates have been downed.
Z-Ability Summoning Struggle
SP SSJ2 Vegeta PUR has a very unique Z-Ability where he Buffs the Strike Attack of two different colors -- Purple and Red. While this is interesting for a Purple Color Counter Team, he must wait until he’s 5 stars in order to unlock the Red portion of the Strike Attack Buff.

If he’s limit broken to 5 stars, he makes an excellent bench Fighter for a Purple Color Counter Team who can also be brought into battle if additional Purple Fighters are needed.
This gives a Boost to both Offensive stats as well as Strike Defense, which he doesn’t get from the other Equips.

Reduces damage received by 50% for 10 timer counts. When this character enters the battlefield, +20% to own Ki Recovery per defeated "Character: Bulma" or "Tag: Vegeta Family".
Deals major Impact damage. Inflicts enemy with Attribute Downgrade "+20% to Blast Damage Received" for 20 timer counts on hit.
Blast damage inflicted by allies increases based on the number of defeated battle members. 0: +15% to Blast damage for 30 timer counts. 1: +25% to Blast damage for 25 timer counts. 2: +40% to Blast damage for 20 timer counts.
While he has a truly fantastic Crisis-like Unique Ability with heavy Damage Buffs and Health Restoration, his base stats aren’t that impressive. It also Buffs Strike Damage even though Blast Attack is his stronger Offensive stat.
