“All right!” - he screamed at the top of his lungs, just moments before making Majin Buu his personal stress relief punch bag in the original Dragon Ball Z series.
Exactly after a year of the global game launch, one of the fan favorites - Vegito - finally joins the battle, and as a free farmable Fighter and Sparking rarity at the top of it.
Early on in the Match, he’s able to take a direct punch thanks to his very high base Defense stats and Unique Ability, which heals him for a decent chunk of Damage taken - this can be topped off by a self-Heal Main Ability. His reduced Strike & Blast Arts Cards costs also enable him to farm Dragon Balls for a potential earlier Rising Rush.
After 30 timer counts have passed, his playstyle completely changes, making him a purely Offensive Fighter instead of a Defensive one. Gaining permanent Buffs to Damage Inflicted, Ki Recovery and Arts Card Draw Speed is a huge power spike that can quickly turn the tide of Match.
Lock and Loaded
His Main Ability doesn’t allow the Enemy to switch Fighters, which is extremely potent when used right and allows for control over the Match. Paired with his Unique Ability “I’m Finally Getting Warmed Up”, turns SP Vegito RED into a swift assassin to protect his Teammates--especially against Yellow Fighters. Alternatively, trapping an Enemy then switching to a Fighter with color advantage can quickly give the Team an upper hand in the Match.
Triple Z Ability
At 5 stars, SP Vegito RED gains a double Z-Ability for Fusion Warriors, and a Strike Attack Buff for Vegito variants, making him the first Fighter ever in the game to provide three Z-Ability Buffs.
While his Main Ability, Extra, and Special Moves are great for staying alive and gaining control of the Match, his lack of any self-Buffs outside of one of his Unique Abilities can at times leave him with mediocre Damage output against Enemies with high Health and Defense stats. This is particularly troublesome in earlier stages of the Match, before his permanent Buffs kick in.
While SP SSJ3 Gotenks YEL is great on Offense early on, SP Vegito RED is his opposite, making them complimentary Allies. Additionally, his ability to lock in Enemies is game-changing when paired with hyper Offensive Fighters like SP Gogeta BLU.
SP Vegito RED naturally fits very well in this Team. His capacity to protect both Purple Teammates from Yellow Enemies thanks to his switch-restricting Main Ability gives them free reign without worrying too much about being Color-countered.
He’s a brick wall of a Tank for the first 30 timer counts. After 30 timer counts, his stats still remain Defensive but his playstyle will shift to an Offensive one.
His Main Ability prevents switching for 10 timer counts, allowing him to control the Combat Loop very effectively.
SP Vegito RED is pretty straightforward, he takes a few moments to warm up and then begins his Offensive assault. Despite the 30% Damage inflicted Buff he receives after 30 timer counts, his base attack stats aren’t great so he can struggle to do Damage at times.
