The prince of all saiyans, Vegeta arrives in his Super Saiyan form as an off tank unit. With a nice bulk and decent damage output, Vegeta easily takes his rightful spot as the one of the best units.
Vegeta is also excellent at ki management: having a really high ki recovery speed similar to his base version, Vegeta SP and a ridiculous decrease to the cost of strike arts cards, he can spam attacks like no other.
His synergy with saiyan teams is great as expected, but his Z ability boosts only RED units which is limited to SSJ Goku SP and SSJ Trunks SP at the moment. As an extra quirk, he can also heal himself with his extra skill which increases his survivability.
Excellent Ki Management
Very high Ki recovery speed and main ability that decreases the cost of Strike arts by a whole 15 (!) ki, leaving them with a measly cost of 5 ki. Vegeta can not only execute long combos at low ki, but also save it when necessary.
Vegeta has one of the highest HP stats in the game and the highest strike defense stat. Although his blast defense stat is somewhat average, he can take a good amount of hits before going down.
With his special skill, Vegeta can heal himself by 20% and remove any abnormal condition such as bleed which is slowly becoming prevalent in the meta. This gives him a lot of survivability and a good option to face against opponents like Captain Ginyu SP who can guarantee status debuffs with certain attacks.
Average Damage Output
Vegeta is classified as a defense based unit and for a good reason, his attack stats are nowhere near good and he can’t output good damage even with his unique ability. That’s not to say his damage output is bad but it's not good enough to be qualified as an asset.
Holds a Blast arts card.
Even though Vegeta is labelled as a defensive unit, his kit is focused all around strike arts, so having a blast arts card will only lower his damage output which is already not that good.
Element based Z ability.
SSJ Vegeta’s Z ability supports RED units instead of Saiyans, unlike his Vegeta SP counterpart. With the meta dominated by BLUE fighters like LSSJ Broly SP, this is a huge disadvantage. Also, mono teams can’t be viably used in PvP, so such teams are always at a disadvantage.
These two equipment pieces enhance all of Vegeta’s assets, them being his strike defense and attack stats. Other equipments which can also be run on Vegeta are: “Fury of the Namekians!” and “Do it, defeat Frieza.”
As expected, Vegeta has excellent synergy in this team. This team has the most support among all teams in the game, and has top tier units which include LSSJ Broly SP, Vegeta SP and SSJ Goku SP. Although Vegeta himself doesn’t boost the team through his own Z ability, he gets a variety of buffs from others which cover almost all stats.
Vegeta has good synergy in this team too. With units like SSJ Goku SP, SSJ Trunks SP forming the crux of the team along with Vegeta, the team performs pretty well and is one of the best mono teams in the game.

Health and strike defense should be the main priority when Soul Boosting Vegeta. Next should be strike attacks and blast defense. The rest of Vegeta’s stats don’t matter much and shouldn’t be focused on too much if the user is lacking resources.
