Why this Tier?

  • His stats and toolkit are absurd.

  • He’s part of arguably the best Tag in the game currently.

EX Whis RED does everything. Offense, Defense, Support, Utility--everything. Outside of a few minor issues, he’s an excellent core Fighter for God Ki Teams.

Why this Tier?

  • He’s an EX Fighter with SP stats.

  • He has tons of Damage Buffs and Enemy Debuffs, including a Health Restoration Debuff which is perfect in the current Meta.

Discussion:

As of his release, EX Evil Buu BLU is simultaneously reviving and countering the Regeneration Tag, and it’s somewhat incredible that he can be pulled at an EX probability rate.

Explanation

Stats

HP 2300599
Strike ATK 226354
Blast ATK 213496
Strike DEF 158298
Blast DEF 153664

Why this Tier?

  • Her toolkit excels at survivability while simultaneously Buffing her Teammates with every Strike and Blast Card used against her.

  • She has some tough competition for core in Female Warrior Teams as their primary Purple, but is still a justifiable pick.

Discussion:

She has some stiff competition with SP SSJ2 Caulifla PUR, but can still form an incredible Defensive Team when paired with SP Ribrianne BLU. Both are primarily Melee-focused, hold two Strike Arts Cards, and are hard to take down.

Blast DEF 144306

Why this Tier?

  • He provides an excellent Z-Ability for Lineage of Evil.

  • He’s usable in PVP.

Discussion:

EX Chilled YEL is listed as a Ranged Fighter, but does quite a bit for his Teammates--mostly through Debuffing Damage Received whenever he enters the battlefield. He also enables his Teammates’ Blast Arts Cards to potentially inflict Paralyze.

Explanation

Stats

HP 2211967
Strike ATK 215637
Blast ATK 242855
Strike DEF 144602
Blast DEF 145307

Why this Tier?

  • He has serviceable Defenses and high Blast Attack for an EX Rarity Fighter.

  • He’s somewhat similar to SP Mai GRN in the sense that he rewards his Teammates with Buffs when he’s swapped in and out of Combat.

Discussion:

EX Trunks GRN is an excellent Support for Hybrid Saiyan or GT Teams with a focus on Blast Attack. His toolkit is good enough to make up for the fact that his Z-Ability before 5 stars is a bit underwhelming.

Explanation

Stats

HP 2122085
Strike ATK 193458
Blast ATK 246720
Strike DEF 144085
Blast DEF 146961

Why this Tier?

  • Her Blast Attack is among the highest in the entire game and is bolstered tremendously by her Unique Abilities.

  • Her Main Ability not only keeps the tempo going for her Team, but also cripples the Enemy Team by reducing their Ki by 50.

Discussion:

EX Youth Bulma YEL was part of the recent wave of EX Rarity Fighters that are devastating in Combat and can supplement their Team with great Z-Abilities. While Female Warriors don’t prioritize Blast Attack, her toolkit is so good that it can offset that inconvenience. The Tag still appreciates her dual Z-Ability regardless.

Tier 1

What makes an EX Fighter ‘Tier 1’?

Good Synergies but their toolkits and stats are too unreliable for PVP. They are solid bench Support, even if they can’t hold their own on the core.

EX Raditz (Blue)
Explanation

Stats

HP 1678562
Strike ATK 174327
Blast ATK 186983
Strike DEF 91327
Blast DEF 88628

Why this Tier?

  • His Z-Ability has made him a staple in every Saiyan Team since the game's release.

  • He’s not very useful on the core.

Discussion:

Despite his many shortcomings stats and toolkit wise, his Z-Ability is one of the most valuable - if not the very most valuable - in the entire game to Saiyans.

Blast ATK 189346
Strike DEF 154295
Blast DEF 151256

Why this Tier?

  • He Buffs Strike Attack and Defense at Z-Ability 1. From Z-Ability 2 and onward, he surpasses EX Android #20 YEL’s Z-Buff potency.

  • His stats--especially Defense--make him PVP viable.

Discussion:

EX Android #17 GRN works really well in Android Teams--both in the core and on the bench thanks to his stats and Tag Synergy. Unfortunately, there has been a drought in consistent Android Fighters being released, so he and his potential Teammates have been getting slowly but steadily power crept.

  • EX Android #18 PUR’s Z-Ability is the same as EX Android #19 RED, only stronger.

  • Her stats make her PVP viable.

Discussion:

She has the same problems as her brother, EX Android #17 GRN. They both have good stats and Z-Abilities, but their Tag is falling far behind that it’s compromising their viability.

Explanation

Stats

HP 2211664
Strike ATK 216389
Blast ATK 247440
Strike DEF 137628
Blast DEF 134921

Why this Tier?

  • His stats and toolkit make him usable in PVP, but only if the Player is missing a considerable amount of core Fighters within the God Ki Tag.

  • God Ki already has access to so many other good Fighters and Z-Abilities, that he has trouble finding a spot on the Team.

Discussion:

EX GoD Beerus YEL has a somewhat similar problem as EX Mai PUR in the sense that he has a good toolkit, but is increasingly hard to bring along due to an anti-Synergistic Z-Ability in a crowded Tag.

Blast DEF 146141

Why this Tier?

  • His Anti-Regeneration Unique Ability can make quick work of the Tag.

  • He faces a ton of competition within his Tags as a Purple Fighter.

Discussion:

After his Balance Change, he’s much better than before. He is a nice niche pick against the Regeneration Tag, but still faces a ton of competition within his Tag and is very one-dimensional Offensively.

Strike ATK 242188
Blast ATK 197514
Strike DEF 145020
Blast DEF 146444

Why this Tier?

  • He counters Regeneration Fighters and Synergizes really well with Future Fighters, although this Tag has lost steam.

  • His Defenses and Strike Attack are pretty high, especially for an EX Rarity.

Discussion:

Steady power creep and his ideal Team falling out of favor has lowered his value a bit, but he can still destroy SP UGA Super Buu GRN as long as he avoids SP Perfect Cell YEL.

Explanation

Stats

HP 2382667
Strike ATK 213698
Blast ATK 215839
Strike DEF 148620
Blast DEF 149358

Why this Tier?

  • He has exceptionally high Defenses and Health for an EX Rarity Fighter.

  • His Unique Ability enables him to do a lot of Damage to boot, at least until he’s attacked.

Discussion:

EX Lord Slug YEL joins the recent influx of incredibly strong EX Rarity Fighters that can compete with some of the better Fighters in the entire game. While they remain difficult to pull consistently, they perform admirably if acquired.

EX Lord Slug YEL, in particular, is incredibly durable and has some decent Damage and card-destruction utility to go along with it, but has trouble making the core when SP Perfect Cell YEL is the vastly superior option. His Z-Ability is also held by multiple other Regeneration Fighters.

Strike DEF 102444

Why this Tier?

  • Her Health Z-Ability is necessary for Female Warriors.

  • Aside from a hilariously high Blast Defense stat, she won’t be seeing any core play.

Discussion:

Despite her stats, she’s an optimal bench spot for Female Warriors.

Why this Tier?

Why this Tier?

  • She has really great Buffs and support for a Tag often in and out of Meta relevance.

  • Her utility is a little too situational.

Why this Tier?

  • His Z-Ability at 5 stars is a must for Sagas Warriors.

  • He provides excellent Support for his Team through his two Unique Abilities.

Discussion:

While his stats have since fallen off considerably, his Z-Ability and Support qualities give him staying power on the bench and can still occasionally come into a Match if an extra Blue Fighter is needed.

Blast ATK 197317
Strike DEF 132566
Blast DEF 136582

Why this Tier?

  • Her utility is a little too situational.

  • Upon release, she provides the highest Strike Defense Z-Ability Buff in the game.

Discussion:

Her Buffs Strike and all Damage--perfect or the current Meta--and her Ability to Team Heal and draw a Special Move Arts Card makes her great for setting up Combos. Her death also causes all Enemies to take 30% more Damage for the remainder of the Match.

Explanation

Stats

HP 1626929
Strike ATK 215217
Blast ATK 109036
Strike DEF 107372
Blast DEF 105240

Why this Tier?

  • He has decent Strike Attack and Buffs for an EX Rarity Fighter, but he shouldn’t be expected to hold his own in PVP

  • Power creep in the Saiyan Tag has severely hurt his viability, even at 7 stars.

Discussion:

EX Goku BLU can best be compared to SP LSSJ Broly BLU but succeeds him in almost every Offensive metric. Sadly, this is no longer saying much.

His Z-Ability and Saiyan Tag are both powerful and versatile, making him a capable PVE choice or a possible bench Support in PVP.

  • He Synergizes well with Bardock variants, but that kind of Team is not PVP viable.

Why this Tier?

  • He owns a highly sought-after Health Z-Ability for a Tag that is trending downwards as of late, but has potential.

  • His Defensive stats and Unique Abilities make him hard to kill.

  • He’s got a good Z-Ability for Future making him a perfect candidate for the bench.

Discussion:

EX Gohan GRN isn’t great, but he’s good. His toolkit doesn’t really fit the Meta nor does it guarantee him a spot on the core. Still, he has some interesting Defensive Abilities that give him the chance to come in as a counter to Blue Fighters or help Tank against especially Offensive Enemy Teams.

Why this Tier?

  • She Z-Buffs two stats, but is color-locked and not farmable

  • She has a great Blast Support toolkit.

Explanation

Stats

HP 2179169
Strike ATK 217016
Blast ATK 217016
Strike DEF 144200
Blast DEF 148529

Why this Tier?

  • His Z-Ability Buffs Red and Green Strike Defense.

  • He lacks viable Tags.

Discussion:

EX Tien RED is a solid Fighter but only so long as all his buffs are hitting, which means he needs to be frequently swapped in and out. This isn’t usually a bad thing, but his Double-Team Unique Ability relies on everyone in the Team staying alive. His double color Z-Ability is really useful, but it's hard to say he has a 'home' where he can help fend off any relevant Teams.

Why this Tier?

  • He has great Defenses.

  • He doesn’t do much of anything else besides soaking up Damage.

Explanation

Stats

HP 2168282
Strike ATK 212451
Blast ATK 209333
Strike DEF 151696
Blast DEF 150205

Why this Tier?

  • He has really strong Defenses, self Healing, and Damage reduction Abilities.

  • His base Health and Offense stats are pretty low so his Damage Buffs won’t go that far.

Discussion:

This is another EX Fighter with SP Rarity stats at the time of his release. However, his Anti-Android Fate Unique Ability is limiting and his last-man-standing Rage really doesn’t work with the rest of his toolkit. That being said, the color flexibility of his Z-Ability after 5 stars will certainly give him a longer life on the bench after power creep begins to affect his impressive stats.

That being said, the color flexibility of his Z-Ability after 5 stars will certainly give him a longer life on the bench after power creep begins to affect his impressive stats.

Explanation

Stats

HP 2334611
Strike ATK 208690
Blast ATK 159878
Strike DEF 120334
Blast DEF 122755

Why this Tier?

  • He’s limited to Teams with Coora variants which alone isn’t bad but since he doesn’t contribute to that Team via Support Buffs, he’s likely to never see the starting line up.

  • his Damage Buffs make his already respectable base Strike Attack stat and held Strike Arts Cards quite powerful.

Discussion:

It's a shame he wasn't given more Coora variant Buffs, otherwise there's not much reason to put him in the core then there are so many other established high tier Sagas Warriors out there.

Even putting him on bench only makes sense for Players who don't have enough SP Fighters to Z-Buff.

Why this Tier?

  • Power creep and an inability to grind makes him less viable.

  • While his stats were Buffed with the third balance update, this wasn’t quite enough to bring him up to average.

Discussion:

EX 2nd Form Cell BLU shares many similarities to his more perfect self, SP PF Cell RED in that they are both Ranged Fighters and provide debuffs to Enemy Arts Card costs. He counters the more common Saiyan Tag, but it’s unlikely that he will see the core line-up often.

EX FF Frost BLU can take a beating and control the battlefield with his Extra Move which immobilizes. However, he’s light in the all Damage department like SP Piccolo GRN but without the Cover Unique Ability or Team healing.
