“Civil War” would be the most fitting way to describe a rivalry between Frieza Force and Lineage of Evil. In fact, these Tags share many things with one another, but also have some differences that make them different in practice.

There isn’t an historical rivalry between these two Tags, since for the most part Lineage of Evil has generally been the clear-cut strongest between the two, since while Frieza Force was limited to effectively being a weaker version of the Frieza race - based Tag.

The past few updates have radically changed this state of things. In fact, Frieza Force has gotten a lot of new --freely obtainable-- additions, that not only differentiated its playstyle from Lineage of Evil’s, but also made it a direct competitor, to the point that deciding which between the two is stronger than the other is arguable.

As previously mentioned, the two Teams have different playstyles, however they have the same staples. In fact, SP Golden Frieza GRN and SP FF FP Frieza YEL are unquestionable powerhouses that should be always put in either Team. Even the way the both of them should be specifically played is the same, with SP Golden Frieza GRN being the Offensive carry of the Team, and SP FF FP Frieza YEL being an essential Tank that can also inflict significant Damage.

What changes is what’s around them. While Frieza Force can pair them with the loyal Ginyu Force, Lineage of Evil pairs them with their sibling, the fierceful SP FF Coora BLU

The Ginyu Force availability provides Frieza Force of superior diversity compared to Lineage of Evil, both on the core and on the bench. Specifically, the privilege of standing side by side with the mighty Frieza goes to EX Recoome BLU, who can function as the secondary Tank with the Team by simultaneously providing a Team Healing Ability.

On the contrary, SP FF Coora BLU’s Support magnifies the already potent Team’s Offense, which means that both SP Golden Frieza GRN and SP FF FP Frieza YEL have considerably higher higher firepower on Lineage of Evil than on Frieza Force.

Both Team have the means to outlast the other, and generally it comes down to the player’s capability to take advantage of specific situations. However, the Frieza Force lineup can benefit from better Z-Abilities and truly spectacular Tankiness, that generally makes it more consistent in a 1 vs 1 matchup, also considering that SP FF Coora BLU is quite outdated as a Fighter compared to EX Recoome BLU.

Both variants are causing terror in the current Meta, since SP FF FP Frieza YEL is an unmovable object for most other Teams in PVP at the moment. It really comes down to the SP FF Coora BLU vs EX Recoome BLU comparison.

The former really enables SP Golden Frieza GRN to one-combo kill about any non Purple Saiyan early in a Match, while the latter is Frieza Force’s secondary wall, which comes in handy considering he also covers SP FF FP Frieza YEL by color.

In general, since SP FF Coora BLU’s Boost depends on him staying alive, which is not a given since he’s so outdated and fragile, Frieza Force feels a bit better against the rest of the Meta, thanks to being a very Tanky Team with great Offense and no direct counters in the current Meta.
