  • He’s the most important Fighter of this Team thanks to the very strong Buffs he gives to his Teammates when he dies. Future Fighters like SP Youth Trunks BLU and SP SSJ2 Trunks BLU, who are also Hybrid Saiyans, can become devastatingly powerful thanks to this Fighter’s presence on the Team.
  • SP SSJ Gohan YEL is also great Offensively. He’s a very capable Melee Fighter thanks to his Team Unique Ability which Boosts his Strike Damage by 40% if another Future Fighter is on the Team. However, if this Ability is not active, he’s not a very powerful Fighter on his own.

  • This Fighter Synergizes really well with both Gohan variants on this team. His Strike Damage is Boosted if a Gohan variant is on the Team and his Ki Recovery Speed and Strike Damage are Boosted after one of them dies. This makes his post-transformation Strike Damage output exceptional.
  • Due to his low Blast Attack, it’s important for him to have as many Strike Arts Cards to pull from the deck as possible. This fits the Team Build well, as the other core Fighters--and some of the possible replacements too--hold two Strike Cards.

Discussion

With the exception of SP Ultimate Gohan GRN’s Cover Ability, this Team doesn’t encourage frequent switching like many other Tag Teams, so the starter should be picked based on whoever the Enemy is most likely to send out first. However, SP Youth Trunks BLU should never be used as the first Fighter in any occasion, because his stats are too low before transforming.

Initially, SP Ultimate Gohan GRN should only be used to absorb Rising Rushes if SP SSJ Gohan YEL hasn’t yet used his Ultimate Move. After that, SP SSJ Gohan YEL should definitely take the fall so that the other two can get those permanent Buffs.

After that, it’s up to SP Youth Trunks BLU and SP Ultimate Gohan GRN to win the Match with the latter taking the fall if needed so SP Youth Trunks BLU can get his “Inheriting the Will” Unique Ability Buffs.

However, Players should be warned. Even with the release of SP Ultimate Gohan GRN, this Team is at a disadvantage because it doesn’t have any kind of Team Healing.

Because of his low stats for the current Meta, he’s definitely a fill for Players who don’t have the complete core or really need a Purple Fighter. Luckily, his Health stat is still competitive. This means that he’ll be able to Tank some hits, but his true strength comes from Damage dealing at low Health.

His base Strike Attack isn’t bad, but he relies on his and Team provided Damage Boosting Abilities. He also has an Ultimate Move, which is always useful in any situation.

While she only Synergizes with Gohan variants after 5 stars, SP Pan BLU is a decent replacement for Players who lack SP Youth Trunks BLU. She’s pretty Supportive and even has a few Enemy Debuffs up her sleeve.

She’s great for Buffing the Damage of her Teammates for the first 25 timer counts of a Match, but her own Strike Attack stat is competitive, so she won’t be the weakest link Offensively.

While he’s a Ranged Fighter, which doesn’t fit the style of this Team, he’s a decent option. He Heals by 10% every time he gets switched to standby, which gives a little more survivability to a fragile Team.

If used well, SSJ Kid Goten GRN is still a force to be reckoned with. His Strike Attack is very destructive after using his powerful Main Ability, which makes him deal enormous amounts of Damage in the right Team Build. Team with SP SSJ Gohan YEL and a Trunks variant is optimal since his Strike Attack potential after SP SSJ Gohan YEL’s death is so high that it can take out Blue Fighters with a single combo, thanks to the enormous Buff given by his Main Ability.

Alternate Bench Members

Just in case SP SSJ2 Trunks BLU is used as a battle member, this replacement makes him deal more Blast Attack Damage without lowering the Damage of the other core Fighters from the loss of a Strike Attack Buffer.
