  • He’s the best Offensive Fighter in the game and SP SSJ Bardock BLU’s Buffs push him over the edge to the point where SP Super Vegito PUR has the Damage output to defeat Enemies in a single Combo.

  • His Cover-like Unique Ability which nullifies Strike Attacks is a breath of fresh air for this ultra Offensive Team. It can really break the flow of a game if used properly, and it’s especially effective if followed a Special Move right after -- since it’s the only Move that doesn’t break the Cover Combo.

  • The man behind-the-scenes is what allows the Team to run like a well-oiled killing machine. He not only gives Super Saiyans significant Buffs when the Fighters are switched, but he himself gets multiple Buffs being allied with one.

  • His Z-Ability at 5 stars makes the Team even more hyper-Offensive, as he gains a Strike Attack Boost for Super Saiyans. This is especially powerful considering how much the other two core members love to utilize Strike Attack, and SP Gogeta BLU gets this Buff after he transforms.

  • At the time of release, SP Gogeta BLU’s stats are some of the highest in the game and while he doesn’t have many tactical advantages to his toolkit, there’s a lot to be said of his overpowered Damage Buffs.

  • In regard to the tactical advantages that he does have, he instantly Restores 20 Ki every time he uses Vanish-Step to evade an Attack and his Special Move cannot be countered with a Blast Attack because he gains Blast Armor when charging forward.

Discussion

The long reign of SP SSJ Broly PUR has finally come to an end. The “Legendary Saiyan” is still one of the best Fighters in the game, however, SP Super Vegito PUR’s Damage output is much higher and really makes this Team have vintage “Holy Trinity” vibes, in the sense that he can defeat Enemies in a single Combo even in the early game.

Sure, SP SSJ Broly PUR Element Disadvantage removal is still an incredible Unique Ability to have, but the Yellow Fighters of the most popular Teams in the Meta -- which are God Ki and Fusion Warrior-- are not fearsome enough for this Team to need such a trump card.

Speaking of this Build, the most optimal tactic is obviously starting with SP SSJ Bardock BLU to activate his Team Boosts once he gets switched to standby. However, Teams like Lineage of Evil and Regeneration are likely to start with their strong Green Fighters against this Team, in which case starting with SP Super Vegito PUR is optimal, since his own Unique Abilities make him strong enough already.

It’s worth noting that while SP SSJ Bardock BLU’s Boosts are incredibly useful, the other Fighters in this Team are so powerful that even if the former gets defeated first, it doesn’t particularly hurt this Team’s winning chances.

SP SSJ Kid Goku GRN can also be a valuable Fighter off the Bench if needed.

Alternate Core Members

Despite being cut from the main core, he’s an incredibly good Fighter with high Damage output and an Element Disadvantage removal Unique Ability that makes him a tough matchup in any situation.

Battle Version 2 nerfed him a little bit, since he can’t refill his Vanishing Gauge anymore through his Blast Armor.

This Fighter hits like a machine gun, in the sense that thanks to his Main Ability and SP SSJ Bardock’s Damage Boost, he’s able to pull off extremely quick and powerful bursts.

Despite being a killing machine only for the first 60 timer counts of a Match, the Damage he’s able to inflict is so high that it doesn’t really matter, because it potentially permits to close out the Fight early, or at least put the Enemy at a big disadvantage.

SP SSJ Broly GRN’s Defensive Abilities are just fantastic. His Cover is overall one of the best in the game, and his Extra Move can nullify most attacks and knock the Enemy back.

His problem is that his Offense is quite sub-par, which is not great for a Team that focuses mainly on that, so he’s a worse Green option than SP SSJ Kid Goku GRN.

Yet another Super Saiyan with a great Offensive toolkit, he is dangerous in both Strike and Blast Attack and actually has a bit of survivability since his Main Ability draws an Ultimate Arts Card and heals him.

Since the main core is now mainly composed of Fusion Warrior Fighters, he Synergizes very well with the rest of the Team.
